XR200 Firmware Version 107 Update
November 09, 2000
Effective November 2000, all XR200 Command Processor panels are being shipped from the factory with version 107 (10/30/00) firmware. This version is an update from the 107 (10/4/00) firmware previously shipped and contains updated operation.
Upload/Download When using Remote Link or Remote Access to direct connect or connect through a data network, the panel will no longer return a Panel Busy message. Previously, the Panel Busy message was returned to Remote Link or Remote Access if the panel's dialer had detected ringing in the last fifteen seconds.
Force Arming The panel now correctly sends user 000 to the receiver when a force arm occurs at arming. Previously, when a zone was force armed, the panel would occasionally send user 001 or 005.
Time Updates from Receiver The panel now requests time updates from the SCS-1 Receiver when programmed to communicate HST over a data network. Previously, the panel failed to request time updates over a data network even though the panel and receiver were properly programmed to update the time.
Cross Zone When a burglary zone programmed for Cross Zone is tripped only once, a Zone Fault is sent to the central station receiver. Previously, an Alarm Signal was sent.
Device Setup When Defaults is selected in Initialization programming, device numbers in Device Setup are automatically programmed for standard (STD) ONLY if there is a keypad or zone expander attached to the keypad bus. Previously, some device numbers were being programmed for standard even though there was no device attached.
Arming Zone After a toggle style arming zone is shorted to arm the system, a second short to disarm and stop the force arming of a zone will now disarm the system. Previously, a second short within five seconds, which was performed to stop a force arming, would not stop the arming process. When Closing Time or Late to Close is displayed on the keypad, tripping a disarm style arming zone now extends schedules correctly and turns off the Late to Close Output. Previously, the output did not turn off.
Transmit Test During the transmit test operation of System Test, the correct attempt number is now displayed. Previously, the first attempt displayed zero and then transmit fail appeared. This occurred even though the test message was successfully sent to the receiver.
