DMP Participates In CSAA Annual Meeting

November 15, 2001

PRESS RELEASE

Digital Monitoring Products, Inc. (DMP), Springfield, MO, announces its participation in the annual 2001 CSAA (Central Station Alarm Association) meeting held October 26 through November 1 in Dana Point, California.

DMP was honored to have Marc Mills, CEO; Dave Combes, Vice President Training, Pat Tobin, Western Sales Director, and Andy Aylesworth, Eastern Sales Director, attend the CSAA meeting to discuss vital industry issues.

I have had the pleasure of serving on the educational and membership committee for several years. The CSAA continues to open its membership to companies even if they don't own a UL Central Station. They will help guide any potential member company through the process of just becoming a UL installing company. Also, the educational committee always delivers top of the industry speakers. These speakers provide information on where the industry currently is, and where the industry will be tomorrow. Any prudent businessperson in our industry needs to know the road not traveled, and the CSAA is the place to obtain the road map, said Dave Combes, Vice President Training.

The week of CSAA events kicked-off Saturday evening with an opening reception, CSAA Around the World. The following week of CSAA events included daily seminars, a tour of the historical Mission at San Juan Capistrano, tennis and golf tournaments and a President dinner and dance. Some of the outstanding seminar speakers included the President of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), George Miller; President of the Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Loring Knoblaunch and President and CEO of Optex, Robert Blair.

I learned more about the security industry at the CSAA meeting than I probably have learned at the three tradeshows that I have attended this year, said Eastern Sales Director, Andy Aylesworth.

If you would like information on joining CSAA or becoming a UL installing company, please contact CSAA at www.csaaul.org or 703-242-4670, or you may contact Dave Combes at 800-641-4282 x141.
