DMP releases 1139 Wireless Bill Trap

April 03, 2007

Perfect match of form and function 1139.jpg Springfield, Missouri March 30, 2007 Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has released its new 1139 Wireless Bill Trap Transmitter for retail and banking applications. The Bill Traps supervised two-way wireless transmitter sends a silent alarm to signal an emergency when the trapped bill is pulled from the cash drawer. To reduce the possibility of a false alarm, the 1139 can be programmed with a delay to provide time to replace the bill if it is accidentally removed. Associated zone outputs can be immediately triggered, allowing a DVR or other devices to immediately activate. With DMP two-way, each wireless device sends a message and receives a confirmation at scheduled intervals, improving system supervision. If the receiver misses a supervision message from a transmitter, the system immediately reports the zone as missing, so the systems integrity and reliability are not compromised. This is what wireless was made for, said Vice President of Sales, Gary Kallman. Two-way supervision makes our Bill Trap a tool that users can rely on. And for dealers, installation literally takes just seconds. Programming the wireless Bill Trap with specific communication test intervals eliminates wasteful, repetitive signaling. By eliminating multiple rounds of repetitive signals, two-way communication extends battery life. No special equipment is needed to program the system. Installers assign wireless devices to zones during panel programming with Remote Link or follow programming prompts from the keypad. The two-way wireless bill trap operates with the XR100 and XR500 Series Command Processor panels using the 1100X Receiveror with the XRSuper6, XR20, and XR40 Command Processor panels using the 1100D Receiver. DMP is a privately held independent manufacturer of innovative intrusion, fire, and access control products that are designed and made in the United States of America.
