DMP Names Charles Sutton Director of Market Development - Retail

Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has named Charles Sutton to the newly created position of Director of Market Development, Retail Solutions. Sutton will assist DMP authorized dealers in providing retail security solutions for national and regional chain stores in both the US and Canada.
"DMP products have many features that make them particularly well suited to retail installations" said Vice President of Sales Jeff McAleer. "Charlie will devote himself to promoting DMP products in this large and important market. We are confident that he will strengthen existing relationships with DMP dealers, and serve as a valuable link in the relationships between them and their customers and prospects."
Sutton will call on regional and national retailers to promote DMP solutions for their stores. Then he will coordinate with their architects and engineers, and the appropriate DMP dealers to identify and implement the specific DMP technology required to meet each retailers' needs.
His 30 years of experience in the security and fire control industry include time with System Sensor, Notifier, and Honeywell. He pursued a degree in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University, and has participated in courses offered by the National Fire Protection Association and the American Management Association. He is certified by the American Society for Industrial Security.
Sutton was born in New York City, and is married with one grown child.
