DMP Meets ISO 9001:2015 Recertification Standard
May 26, 2016
Today DMP reaffirms our commitment to producing the highest quality products and services in the security industry by announcing successful recertification to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System standard, including compliance with the 2015 revised edition of the standard.
In the world of quality, ISO 9001:2015 sets the standard on how an effective Quality Management System should be structured. The standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, evidence-based decision making, accountability of top management, the process approach and continual improvement, to name a few.
The auditors submitted their report with the recommendation that our certificate remain in force, and to reflect the fact that DMP is in compliance with the 2015 revision of the standard. The certification process is designed to ensure the company continues to measure the right things to progress forward, and continues to grow and improve.
Auditors conducting this recertification indicate that, of all the companies the auditors are aware of, DMP is one of the first companies to transition successfully to the 2015 edition of the standard. DMP meets the standard because it is our mission to strive to anticipate needs and to respond quickly with innovative solutions that work.
“It is woven into the fabric of our organization,” said Lee Scanlon, Director of Corporate Quality. “We are always working to be on the leading edge, a leader and not a follower. It’s who we are.”
