New Arming Option on System Information Screen Adds Convenience

Version 2.38 Also Makes Storing User Codes Easier for Backups


Dealer Admin continues to expand with more ways to give your commercial customers professional, concierge-level support. If they don’t have the Virtual Keypad™ app and need your assistance to arm or disarm their systems, now you can do that directly from the customer’s System Information page. 

DMP dealers have asked for this additional arming option for their convenience in serving commercial customers. With this new option, you’re no longer required to log in as the customer first. From the System Information page, you have the flexibility to arm and disarm the system. Or you can select specific areas of the system.

To arm or disarm systems in Dealer Admin, you must be an Administrator or have the Arming custom role permission. All arming/disarming activities are also audited and displayed in Recent Activity. 

Auto Select Store User Codes
Version 2.38 also makes it easier to automatically store user codes and ensure archived backups. Each time you add a system, you won’t need to remember to select Store User Codes — when Allow Stored User Codes is enabled in Dealer Settings, each system added afterward has Store User Codes automatically selected. As a result, its supported programming will be backed up automatically and once every 30 days afterward.
