Now Your Customers Can Automatically Schedule Their Own 3G Upgrades

Upgrading all of your systems to LTE is a big responsibility — we know it’s taking time to contact all of your existing customers whose systems still need the upgrade. Wouldn’t you rather have your sales staff focus on bringing in new business instead? We’re here to help!

DMP’s new 3G Upgrade Program gives you the flexibility to reach out to multiple customers automatically via their Virtual Keypad™ app. Many may not even realize their security systems won’t work after the 3G cellular sunset. Instead of taking time to contact each customer and explain, here’s an easier way to let them know why they need the upgrade and offer a schedule of your available service appointments, which they can easily choose from.

Setting up the 3G tool in Dealer Admin™ requires just a few easy steps. First, you’ll configure your schedule by selecting the days of the week and time slots that your technicians are available for upgrades. You’ll also enter your message and select the customers you want to contact. Select Save and you’re ready to book your customers’ appointments!

What Does This Mean for You?
Contacting your customers whose systems still need the upgrade doesn’t have to take all of YOUR time!

As soon as your customer selects an appointment from your schedule, the system will follow up with an email to anyone on your team and that customer confirming the appointment. Plus, to make sure your technicians are prepared for the service calls, they’ll be able to access your scheduled upgrades and view details of each one from the Tech APP™.

Activation-Ready LTE Communicators
When you pair this with the “activation-ready” LTE communicators from V201 on XT Series panels, this makes for the fastest and simplest LTE upgrades in the industry.

To make every LTE install faster, now all LTE units ever shipped from DMP are “activation ready.” For new systems, this means you follow the normal process of creating the account and selecting the rate plan. As soon as you’re ready, the units immediately activate on AT&T or Verizon’s networks and are ready to communicate data. Whether you’re using the Tech APP, Dealer Admin or calling SecureCom Customer Service, there’s no waiting on the carrier to complete the provisioning process.

Faster activations mean faster installs and broaden your coverage while maximizing your technicians’ time. In fact, your newer technicians with less experience can make the upgrade by following a few simple instructions. At the same time, you can depend on your trained technicians for new system installs or system upgrades.
