While providing fast, reliable and secure communication for alarm messages, the iCOMslTM is also flexible enough to function as a stand-alone security device, independent of an alarm panel. The economical iCOMslTM can now provide the same high-level of security for any alarm messages that have previously only been available for DMP systems by providing panel-to-receiver supervised communication via the Internet, local or wide area networks. This small and economical unit may be programmed with a DMP keypad or remotely by the DMP Remote LinkTM Programming Software. This industry first network enabled alarm communicator provides six programmable inputs and six programmable outputs. It can communicate directly to a PC using System LinkTM or Remote LinkTM software, or communicate to any SCS-1 (and SCS-2 pending UL approvals) Security Command Receiver with a network interface. The iCOMslTM also allows full data Internet MonitoringTM from the low cost DMP XR20 and XR40 Command Processor Panels via the Keypad Data Bus.
