iCOMsl Allows Internet Monitoring For Any Panel
May 30, 2002
DMP, Springfield, MO, announces the release of the iCOMsl Internet Alarm Communicator, which brings Internet Monitoring to any alarm panel from any manufacturer. While providing fast and efficient communication for alarm messages, the iCOMsl is also flexible enough to function as a stand-alone security device, independent of an alarm panel.
The iCOMsl can now provide the same high-level of security for any alarm messages that have previously only been available for DMP systems. By providing panel-to-receiver supervised communication, the iCOMsl will soon be listed for Commercial Fire messaging.
Now the same network communication technology used with DMP control panels for the past six years can be used to upgrade any control panel, stated DMP CEO, Marc Mills.
This small unit may be programmed with a DMP keypad or remotely by the DMP Remote Link Programming Software. This industry exclusive alarm communicator provides six programmable inputs and six programmable outputs, it can communicate directly to a PC using System Link or Remote Link, or communicate to any SCS-1 Security Command Receiver with a network interface.
The iCOMsl also allows full data Internet Monitoring from the low cost DMP XR20 and XR40 Command Processor Panels via the Keypad Data Bus.
