DMP Names Paul Baran Director of Market Development, Banking Solutions
Baran Responsible for Markets in Eastern US
Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has named Paul Baran, CPP, NICET (Fire), as the new Director of Market Development, Banking Solutions for the Eastern US. He will assist authorized DMP dealers in his region develop new business in the financial services markets. He will also help drive business to these dealers by raising awareness in the financial services market of DMP products and services.
“Paul brings an impressive breadth of security experience to DMP,” said Vice President of Sales, Mark NeSmith. “He’s worked as an employee of, and a consultant to, several security-related Federal government agencies. As the author of many courses used in training security industry professionals, he’s well prepared to assist dealers in his region educate their customers on the benefits of DMP technology.”
Prior to joining DMP, Paul worked for a major, international security systems provider as a consultant to both the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security. He holds a degree in criminal justice and has attended many additional security-related training programs including courses offered by the Pennsylvania State Police Academy and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. He earned a long list of certifications from the NBFAA National Training School (NTS) including Video Systems Training, Advanced Burglar Alarm Technician, Electronic Access Control, and others. He is an ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
Paul served as the Chairman of NBFAA National Training School and is a member of the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Advisory Committee – Fire & Security.
