DMP Cares

Kindness is important to us; so much that it's one of our company values. We believe when treated with kindness, everyone can flourish. Therefore, we make it a priority to consider how our actions affect others, both the people we work with and those who live in and around our community.

As a company, we identify and support a number of worthy causes, and encourage our employees to do the same by creating opportunities for them to offer their contributions. Those contributions are sometimes financial, but more often, we encourage personal, hands-on donations of their time and talent. This form of giving provides the double benefit of supporting others in need while reminding us of our need to be thankful for the things we've been blessed with.

In the last year, we've been excited to support several charitable initiatives. During the Christmas season, DMP employees partnered with SeniorAge, which is our local Area Agency on Aging. Each department adopted a senior, and employees donated their time and resources to make sure our seniors' wish lists were fulfilled! In the fall, DMP employees gave up two lunch breaks to assemble more than 1,300 PowerPack napsacks filled with food for school-age children who may go hungry over the weekends. And earlier this summer, we partnered with Convoy of Hope's Hands of Hope. DMP employees volunteered their time to sort, pack, count and label items distributed throughout the world for disaster relief situations and nutritional feeding programs. What a joy it is to support others in need!

St. Jude has nine domestic affiliates nationwide, including the Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center, which is part of Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Having a local affiliate allows families to stay together, closer to home while their children receive state-of-the-art treatment. As part of the 2018 DMP Cares Campaign, employees are contributing $10 per paycheck to revamp the local affiliate’s "Teen Cave" where cancer patients spend time during treatment. This is particularly meaningful to DMP employees as one of those cancer patients is a co-worker’s son.

This organization serves thousands of seniors in southwest Missouri through senior centers, as well as numerous programs and services. DMP partnered with this organization during the 2017 holiday season to provide Christmas cheer for those who were alone or in need of assistance. Each department adopted a senior and provided items from their wish lists.

This organization exists for the purpose of restoring hope and God-given dignity by providing basic necessities, like shoes,
to those currently in need. DMP helps One Sole Purpose by supporting and participating in their various fundraising events.

The BCFO is a resource for individuals and families in southwest Missouri and the four-state region impacted by breast cancer. DMP helps by contributing to and participating in their various fundraising events.

As a faith-based, nonprofit organization, Convoy of Hope has helped more than 80 million people throughout the world
