It is ideal for commercial customers who want the convenience of a cloud-based access-only system that is fully controlled by their phones or browser using DMP's Virtual Keypad platform.
The X1-8 is a multi-door access control with an onboard network or Wi-Fi communicator. Included are two reader inputs (in and out), a door position switch input, a request to exit input and a customizable input. Optional add-on modules expand capabilities, including LTE cellular module for primary or backup communications and a module for PoE power. The X1 also supports Weigand and OSDP reader protocols. Other features include easy-to-configure network and Wi-Fi settings for the network through the X1's self-hosted EASYconnectAP Wi-Fi connection. Improvements
Previously, some X1 systems may have denied access to valid users, logging an Access Denied - Invalid Code event due to the X1 having an integration setting wrongly activated. This has been resolved. Now, X1 has improved integration monitoring and provides event details when Access Denied is specifically due to an Area armed status.
