DMP Home & Small Business Control Now With Z-Wave® Plus
738Zplus Module Now Available
Z-Wave Plus is here! DMP has added Z-Wave Plus device compatibility with the release of the DMP 738Zplus Z-Wave Plus module. End users can now control a variety of Z-Wave and Z-Wave Plus devices in their home or small business using the Virtual Keypad™ App or Graphic Touchscreen Keypad.
“Users continue to be eager for the convenience and functionality promised by home automation systems, but were deterred by the complexity and high price,” said DMP Senior Vice President, Joe Hurst. “Z-Wave Plus devices, used in conjunction with DMP panels, offer a simple, low-cost way for home and business owners to add these desired remote control features.”
The 738Zplus Z-Wave Module allows DMP panels to communicate with up to 232 Z-Wave/Z-Wave Plus devices such as light controls, light bulbs, door locks, garage door openers, and thermostats. DMP currently offers the following Z-Wave devices:

The 738Zplus is automatically recognized by DMP panels, and no additional programming is required. Once the 738Zplus is connected to a panel, users can immediately begin adding Z-Wave devices to their system.
Z-Wave Plus has many improvements over the standard Z-Wave certification. Battery life has been improved by 50%. Range has been significantly lengthened by 67%. Bandwidth has increased to 250%.
