Allowing installers to do their jobs quickly
Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has further expanded its selection of wireless security devices with the addition of the 1127 Wall Mount Passive Infrared (PIR) Motion Detectors. The new sensors are available in both a curtain and wide-angle version, and are part of the 1100 Two-way wireless series.

The ability to remotely control the 1127 Motion Detector sensor enables faster, easier installation, and makes future programming changes more convenient. During installation and testing, the Walk Test Mode can be initiated from the panel.
Once in place, users can take advantage of the Disarm/Disable function which automatically disables the 1127 when the area is disarmed, extending the typical five-year battery life to seven years. This is great for high traffic areas. Other features include selectable high or low Sensitivity, and user-selected Pulse Count that can be programmed to allow multiple triggers before an alarm is initiated.
The 1127C Curtain PIR covers a 50-foot detection area using a Fresnel lens. The 1127W is a wide-angle sensor that covers a 36-foot by 84-degree angle area using a Fresnel lens, with pet immunity up to 40 pounds. Both PIRs exhibit excellent R.F.I. and noise immunity, and include a case tamper. The 1127 PIRs are compatible with all DMP 1100 Series wireless receivers, and both the XT Series™ and XR100/XR500™ Panels.
