Video Verification to the Central Station

DMP & Securecom Video are introducing this patent pending technology which is compatible with any Automation Software. Video is triggered by alarm sensors that activate cameras to record and makes live and pre-alarm video clips available to the central station operator immediately from the intrusion alarm screen display. This new set of features provides a seamless integration between the intrusion alarm system, the Central Station operator, and the subscriber.

End users of these services can rest assured that no unauthorized personnel are viewing their cameras after the alarm window has expired, and dealers and central stations can reduce the potential of any liability for unwarranted camera views. Operators can download both pre and post alarm clips during the alarm window.

    Alarm Association Standards - ANSI

DMP Central Station Video Verification meets the CS-V-01 Alarm Verification & Notifications Procedure Standards. This new set of features provides a seamless integration between the intrusion alarm system, the Central Station operator, and the subscriber. For the first time providing real-time-alarm data backed by video is in the hands of the people that can use it the most and at the very point of critical decision-making.

End User Video Verification

In an alarm situation, end users receive real-time alarm notification on their mobile device that an alarm has occurred. Users can click on the Alarm Push Notification and open the App to view a list of available live camera views.  Users can immediately cancel or verify the alarm based on their knowledge of the situation and camera footage, or what they are witnessing at the premises. Recorded clips on-site cameras are available 10 minutes prior to the alarm.  Based on the users visual assessment, they can cancel or verify the alarm for the App screen.

The app not only puts remote system control in the hands of the person who is best equipped to make the decisions, it also removes subjective decision making by central station operators. This feature reduces delays in confirming alarms, allows users to cancel alarms that traditional video verification must dispatch on while ensuring that responders arrive as soon as possible. Video Verification from DMP is the future of alarm system management and available today.
